Junior Project Manager

We are looking for a skilled tradesperson who is interested in transitioning from a hands-on role to a management position. This is a unique opportunity for someone who has demonstrated strong technical skills and is now ready to take on a leadership role within our organization. The role requires the management of 6-10 projects at any given time.

Areas of expertise:

- Retaining walls

- Fencing

- Landscaping

- Renovations (not essential)

Responsibilities:

- Participate in our management training program to develop your skills in project management, resource allocation, and budgeting.

- Work with our experienced managers to develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

- Communicate with clients, suppliers, internal teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.

- Foster a positive team environment and promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a skilled trade.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to develop strong relationships with workers and subcontractors.

- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.

- A desire to transition from a hands-on role to a management position.

$90K - $110K plus vehicle

Working Hours

You must be flexible. In this role you must ensure all jobs run smoothly and decisions are made so as not to delay progress. This can be at any time of the day.


Location

75% of time will be spent on the road visiting sites. The other 25% will be at our office in Springfield.
